Religion and Medicine: Healing the Body and Soul from the Middle Ages to the Modern Day

Valentina Živković, research associate of the Institute for Balkan Studies of the Serbian Academy of Sciences of Arts took part in the international scholarly conference Religion and Medicine: Healing the Body and Soul from the Middle Ages to the Modern Day held at Birkbeck, University of London on 15 and 16 July 2016. She presented the paper “Medical Practices and the Cult of Saints in Kotor (14th–16th centuries)”. The conference was organized by Prof. John Henderson, Katherine Harvey and Carmen Mangion, while the keynote speaker was Prof. Samuel Cohn, Jr., University of Glasgow.
