The Balkan Village. Continuities and changes through history

Ljubodrag P. Ristić, PhD, Senior Reserch Associate of the Institute for Balkan Studies of SASA participated in the international scientific conference entitled The Balkan Village. Continuities and changes through history held on June 10-11, 2016 in Sirogojno (Serbia). Lj. P. Ristić presented his paper entitled The perception of the first half of 19th century Serbian village in accounts of the foreigners of the time. He analyzed the works and travelogues of west european scholars and travelers who travelled and stayed in Serbia and left remarkable notes on Serbian village of that time.
