International Symposium of Archaeology and History
Dr Vladimir P. Petrović, Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Balkan Studies of SASA took part with the oral presentation at the scientific symposium: 42nd edition of the International Symposium of Archaeology and History in Memoriam Constantini Daicoviciu, which was held from 09 - 12 March 2016 in Băile Herculane, Romania. At the symposium, he held a lecture at the panel Roman Archaeology - Classical Studies entitled: The Infrastructural Development in the Timachus River Valley after the Roman Conquest.
The organizer of the scientific conference was the Caransebeș Museum (Muzeul Caransebeș), under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Romania. There were over fifty eminent scholars from Romania, France, Poland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece and Serbia.
