XV INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MINORITY LANGUAGES
Dr. Biljana Sikimić, scientific advisor of the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA, gave a plenary lecture on May 28, 2015 at the XV International Conference on Minority Languages (ICML), held in May 28-30 2015 at the Philology Faculty of the University of Belgrade. The lecture was entitled: “Banat Bulgarian within primary educational system”. Dr. Marija Mandić, research fellow of the Institute, participated in the conference with the co-authored presentation with Sandra Buljanović “Majority vs. minority language: The case of the Serbian-Hungarian primary school in Debeljača“. Dr. Annemarie Sorescu Marinković, research fellow of the Institute, participated at the conference with the co-authored presentation with Dr. Monica Huțanu “Education in early childhood language for the Vlach minority of Eastern Serbia: challenges and perspectives”.
