Religion and the Public from 1989/1991

Aleksandra Djurić-Milovanović, PhD, research fellow of the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA took part in the international workshop Religion and the Public from 1989/1991 held in Giessen (Germany). The workshop was organized by the Justus-Liebig University in cooperation with Giessen Center for Eastern European Studies (GiZo) and the Herder Institute for Historical Research on East Central Europe, University of Marburg. Aleksandra Djurić-Milovanović presented the paper „We were baptized on the river, just after the Revolution of 1989“: the intensification of public expression of neo-Protestant religiosity in post-communist Romania.
