The Balkan Wars 1912-1913: Conflicts, Challenges and Memories

Vojislav Pavlović, fellow of the Institute for Balkan Studies, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, took part in the international conference devoted to the history of the Balkan Wars 1912–13 held in Paris on 7 and 8 June 2013. The conference, organised by the unniversities of Paris I (Pantheon-Sorbonne) and Paris IV (Paris-Sorbonne) and supported by the French Ministry of Defence, the French School in Athens and the CNRS, assembled historians from France, Romania, Turkey, Italy, Austria and Serbia. Dr Pavlović submitted the paper “The final phase of the Eastern Question and the consolidation of national identities in the Balkans 1908–1914”.
