Round table „Belief narratives as a special type of folk literature“

 Dr. Dragana Đurić, Research Associate at the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA, participated in the work of the Round Table "Belief narratives as a special type of folk literature", organized by the SASA Board for Folk Literature on September 27, 2024. Dr. Đurić dedicated her paper "Belief narratives about vampires - recent records" to the analysis of unpublished students records from the University of Niš created in the period from the 1990s to the second decade of this century in the area of ​​southern and eastern Serbia. These records are provided with a complete insight into the belief narratives about vampires fixed in a certain time and in a certain area of Serbian cultural space.
