Defended doctoral dissertation of Anđela Redžić

On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, Anđela Redžić, research assistant of the Institute of Balkan Studies, SASA, successfully defended her doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade. The topic of the dissertation was "Case Syntax in Syriac Speech (Balkanistic Aspect)". It presents in detail the composition and way of functioning of the case system of the Sirinic speech, and based on the analysis, the Balkan process of changing the synthetic way of using the case to the analytical one in this speech is discussed.

Mentors were prof. Vanja Stanišić (Faculty of Philology) and Ph.D. Sofija Miloradović (Institute for Serbian Language SASA).
