Тhe fourth campaign "THE EXCAVATIONS OF THE LOCALITY "ČETAĆE-RADUJEVAC" has begun
The fourth campaign of archaeological research has begun under the project: "THE EXCAVATIONS OF THE LOCALITY "ČETAĆE-RADUJEVAC," NEGOTIN MUNICIPALITY, NEAR THE MOUTH OF THE TIMOK RIVER INTO THE DANUBE, IN THE COMPOSITION OF THE ROMAN LIMES." The locality "Ćetaće-Radujevac" is on the tentative list of UNESCO.
The Institute for Balkan Studies of SASA leads the project in collaboration with the Krajina Museum from Negotin. The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia has made the project's financing possible, with the Krajina Museum in Negotin providing co-financing.
The project was led by Dr. Vladimir P. Petrović, principal research fellow of the Institute for Balkan Studies of SASA, and MA Gordan Janjić, archaeologist-museum adviser of the Krajina Museum. The expert team includes archaeologists Aleksandar Tasić and Ivan Ilić, as well as architecture student Konstantin Janjić.
