International Conference EuARe2024

Research associates of the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA, Dr Marija Vasiljević and Dr Ognjen Krešić participated in the seventh annual conference of the European Academy of Religion, which took place in Palermo, May 20–23, 2024.

They took part in the panel Interdisciplinary Approaches to the Study of Sanctuary Foundation Legends in Early Modern History (1450–1750) where they presented the paper titled Foundation Legends of Christian Orthodox Monasteries under Ottoman Rule: The Case of Fruška Gora Monasteries.
