Lecture at the Faculty of Philology, Belgrade

On May 9, 2024, MA Anđela Redžić, research assistant of the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA, held a lecture titled “Balkan Varieties in Serbia” at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade, upon invitation of the Department of Slavic Studies. She discussed Balkan linguistics, as the linguistic subfield of her interest, focusing on the position of Serbian Prizren-Timok dialect within this framework, as well as other Balkan varieties present in Serbia. Additionally, she presented her research conducted as part of the project “Vulnerable Languages and Linguistic Varieties in Serbia” (VLingS), ongoing at the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA and supported by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia.
