Lecture by Professor Michele Bacci
On February 29th 2024, Professor Mikele Bacci (University of Fribourg, Switzerland) held a lecture entitled "Latin - Byzantine Artistic Interactions and the Church of Saint Basil in Stoliv (Montenegro)".
Professor Michele Bacci is the head of the Department of Medieval Art History at the University of Friborg and a permanent member of the European Academy (Academia Europaea). He was a visiting professor at the University of Tokyo, the University of Jerusalem, then at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, as well as at the Kunsthistorisches Institut-Max-Planck in Florence.
The lecture was organized by the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA.
The lecture was moderated by Valentina Živković, Ph.D., principal research fellow of the Institute for Balkan Studies of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
