Science Fund's PROMIS young researchers project
As a part of the PROMIS program, announced by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia, associates of the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA were granted funding for a project entitled: (Trans-)Formation of Identities: Orthodox Christians in the Ottoman Balkans (c.1450–c.1750) (FORMIDOX).
The principal investigator is Marija Vasiljević, Ph.D., research associate at the institute for Balkan Studies SASA. Other members of the team are Ognjen Krešić, Ph.D, research associate, and Milena Davidović, MA, research assistant. In addition to the Institute for Balkan Studies, two other institutions are participating in the project: the Faculty of Philology of the University of Belgrade (assistant professor Irena Plaović and teaching assistant Aleksandra Ivanović) and the Institute for Byzantine Studies SASA (Zoran Jovanović, MA).
