Dr. Bogdan Živković, research associate of the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA, participated from October 25th to 27th in the conference "A world without empire?" Encounters and connections between African, European and Soviet communists, from the 1920s to the 1970s”. The conference was held in Pisa and organized by the Scuola Normale Superiore.
Bogdan Živković presented his work on the topic: "African lessons for the European alliance." The role of Africa in the relations between Yugoslav and Italian communists".
The conference was held as part of the project "How Communism Became Global." Building connections between Soviet, European and African Communists, 1920s to 1960s", in which Bogdan Živković participates as an associate.
