International PhD Summer School “Religion and Politics. Between res publica and private practices” in Thessaloniki
Aleksandra Djurić Milovanović, Senior Research Associate of the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA was a lecturer at the International PhD Summer School “Religion and Politics. Between res publica and private practices” which was held from 18th to 22nd of September 2023 at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki (Greece).
Dr Djurić Milovanović gave a lecture entitled: The Role of Migration in Enhancing Religious Diversity and Cultural Transfers in the Balkans. The case of Serbia.
This summer school was organized as part of the collaboration of several European institutions: Università degli studi di Trieste, École française d’Athènes, Aix-Marseille Université, TELEMMe, École française de Romе, University of Macedonia, Culture Borders Gender Lab and Université de Toulouse Jean Jaurès.
Among selected students was Anđelija Miladinović, PhD student and intern of the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA who presented his PhD research project from doctoral studies at the Faculty of Phiosophy in Belgrade.
