International Conference “Romanian Language, Literature, Culture – Challenges and Perspectives”
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary since the establishment of Romanian language Studies in Belgrade, the Group for Romanian Language, Literature and Culture of the Department of Romance Studies within the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade, organized on May 25 and 26, 2023, the international scientific conference “Romanian Language, Literature, Culture – Challenges and Perspectives”.
During the conference, 52 experts from 11 countries delivered lectures about the Romanian language, literature and culture, as well as teaching Romanian in the context of today’s globalized world.
Annemarie Sorescu-Marinković, senior research associate of the Institute for Balkan Studies, was a member of the scientific committee of the conference and presented the paper entitled Standardizare lingvistică circumstanțială în Serbia de est: “Vorba noastră” (1945-1949) (Circumstantial linguistic standardization in Eastern Serbia: “Vorba noastră” (1945-1949)), together with Monica Huțanu, foreign lecturer for the Romanian language at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade.
