SASA Library Book Forum
On Monday, November 8th in the SASA Grand Hall, the SASA Library Book Forum was held, organized by the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Publications of the Institute for Balkan Studies were presented at the Forum:
• Hilandar Monastery and the Eastern Balkans in the 18th century: cultural and economic connections / Ognjen Krešić; editor-in-chief Vojislav G. Pavlovic. - Belgrade: Institute for Balkan Studies SASA, 2021.
• The Autonomy of Kosovo and Metohija in Serbia: (1945–1969) / Igor Vukadinović; editor-in-chief Vojislav G. Pavlovic. - Belgrade: Institute for Balkan Studies SASA, 2021.
• Finir la Grande guerre dans les Balkans : 1918–1923 / sous la direction de Vojislav G. Pavlović. – Belgrade: Académie serbe des sciences et des arts, Institut des études balkaniques, 2022.
The welcome address was given by the director of the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA, Dr Vojislav G. Pavlović, and speaches were given by Academician Mirjana Živojinović, Academician Ljubodrag Dimić and prof. Dr Slobodan G. Markovic.
The SASA Library Book Forum was established to show the public new books of SASA members, new editions of SASA and its institutes, from all fields of science and art. The first editor of the forum was academician Nikša Stipčević, manager of the SASA Library from 1991 to 2011. Since October 2011, the editor of the forum is academician Miro Vuksanović, manager of the SASA Library. The forum yearbook has been published regularly since 2013.
