Presentation of the monograph “Gurbet Romani in contact”

On the 28^th September 2022, in the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the monograph Gurbet Romani in contact. The analysis of Balkanisms and Serbian loanwords (Гурбетски ромски у контакту. Анализа балканизама и позајмљеница из српског језика), published in 2022 by the Institute for Balkan Studies, SASA, was presented to the public.

The authors, Mirjana Mirić, PhD, research associate, and Svetlana Ćirković, PhD, senior research associate, conversed about the monograph, while the event was moderated by Annemarie Sorescu-Marinković, PhD, senior research associate of the Institute for Balkan Studies, SASA.

The presentation took place within the 2022 Annual Meeting of the Gypsy Lore Society and Conference on Romani Studies, organized by the Gypsy Lore Society and the Board for the study of life and customs of Roma of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
