The "Ilarion Ruvarac" Matica Srpska Award for History for 2021 was awarded to Igor Vukadinović, PhD
On Thursday, June 30th 2022, the "Ilarion Ruvarac" History Award for 2021 was awarded in Matica Srpska. The jury, consisting of professor Mira Radojević, PhD (president), professor Branko Bešlin, PhD, Dragan Bogetić, PhD, principal research fellow, professor Smilja Marjanović Dušanić, PhD and Ljubodrag Ristić,PhD, senior research associate, unanimously decided to give the award to Igor Vukadinović,PhD, research associate of the Institute for Balkan Studies, for his book "Autonomy of Kosovo and Metohija in Serbia (1945–1969)" (Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Institute for Balkan Studies, Belgrade, 2021).
Professor Dragan Stanić, PhD welcomed the audience and presented the award to the winner. Professor Mira Radojević, PhD, gave a speach about the jury's decision and the awarded book. At the end of the event, the winner addressed the audience.
The "Ilarion Ruvarac" History Award of Matica Srpska was established in 2015 and is awarded for the best book on the history of the Serbian people or on general history published in the Serbian language in the previous year.
