International meeting in Romania

Marija Mandić, senior research associate of the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA, took part at the international scientific conference „Spaces In Between (Köztes terek / Spaţii intermediare)“, organiazed at the University of Transylvania, Miercura Ciuc / Csikszereda (Romania), 26 – 27  April 2019. Marija presented two co-authored papers (with Aleksandar Krel) „Multilingualism in Ethnic Mimicry: Language Use of the Banat German Speakers in the Aftermath of World War II“ and (with Krisztina Rácz) „Language of the Social Environment in the Context of Habsburg Educational Policy“.
