JLI-KAICIID Webinar Refugees & Migration

Dr Aleksandra Djurić Milovanović, senior research associate of the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA, was a guest speaker at the webinar held on November 20, 2018, hosted by KAICIID Center for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue and Joint Learning Initiative Refuge Hub from Washington DC. Dr Djurić Milovanović focused on the role of religion in migration processes, as well as the engagement of the faith-based organizations in the Balkans, especially in Serbia, in providing humanitarian aid for the migrants and refugees in the past few years. Title of her presentation was: A Response of the Faith-Based Organizations to the Migration Crises: the case of Serbia.
