Zurich 2018 Workshop: First step towards an interactive map of Balkan linguistic features

Mirjana Mirić, research associate of the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA, participated at the international workshop Zurich 2018 Workshop: First step towards an interactive map of Balkan linguistic features, which took part on 26^th and 27^th November 2018 in Zurich (Switzerland). The workshop was organized by the Slavistics Seminar of the University of Zurich and gathered scholars from Greece, Albania, Romania, Russia, Germany, Switzerland and Serbia. Mirjana Mirić’s contribution entitled The complementizer da omission in the future tense construction in Timok and Lužnica vernaculars: the Balkan perspective was presented on the first day of the workshop. On the second day researchers were trained to interactively map Balkan linguistic features and perform various statistical analysis in the R software.
