What language do we speak?

At the invitation of the Center for Baltic and East European Studies, CBEES, Södertörn University, Sweden, on Monday, November 27th 2017, Annemarie Sorescu Marinković, senior research associate of the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA, gave the lecture “What language do we speak?”. Language ideology and planning among the Bayash Roma, within the frame of CBEES Advanced Seminar Series. These academic seminars are at the heart of the centre’s activities and are sometimes referred to as the laboratory of the humanities and social sciences. The seminars are held every other Monday and are open to researchers, both at the university and external, as well as to the general public, and the lecturers are prominent researchers all over the world with a special interest in Eastern Europe and the Baltic area.
