500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation 1517-2017

On the occasion of celebrating of the 500^th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation 1517-2017, Dr. Aleksandra Djurić Milovanović, research associate of the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA took part in two international conferences dedicated to this event. Aleksandra Djurić Milovanović took part in international bilingual conference: A Magyar Reformáció román kultúrára gyakorolt hatásai és következményei/Influența Reformației maghiare asupra culturii române, organized by the University of Segedin (Hungary) on 28^th of October. Dr. Djurić Milovanović presented a paper entitled „Nazarenii, primii neoprotestanți români și impactul lor asupra identității spirituale a românilor din Banatul Sârbesc“, in Romanian language. On 31^st of October, she participated at the conference organized by Yugoslav Association for the Scientific Study of Religion (JUNIR) and presented her research of the beginnings and development of neo-Protestantism among Romanians in Serbia. Conference papers have been published in edited volume “500 Years of Protestant Reformation”, edited by Dragoljub B. Đorđević and Dragan Todorović (JUNIR, University of Niš, 2017).
